m/t fluid burning smell

so when im driving and i shift in high rpms like from 4.5 to 6k's i smell a very distinctive smell which smells like tranny fluid. and im just wondering what that means???

im not too for sure because my distributor is leaking and leaking over everything

Ya know what? I bet if you fixed the leak(s) and inspected the car for other issues you would figure out the problem.

It's a 1+1=2 kinda deal.
