As title states, I replaced the ISB in my YS1 in my 93 integra and now I'm having an issue where the shifter is hard to move side to side. I've since removed the tranmission and swapped a loaner in until I can fix the issue.
Any ideas what I may have done or what I should look into when I open it back up?
Go easy on me, this is my first attempt doing any kinda of transmission work, aside from remove/install...
Thanks HT

When you put the case back together did you have to force closed or did it go back together easily? Something inside isn't put together right...take pics of the gearhousing off and I'll see if I can spot your prob. It could be a few things making the changer mechanism bind. You didn't put it back together right esp if it worked fine before and all you did was replace the isb.

Ya, that's what I'm thinking. Anything in particular you need pictures of? It was force closed as well.

The washer under the big mainshaft top end bearing might not have the tab lined up into respective groove in the gearhousing. Pull the case up an, as is, take above shot and some diff shots of forks, changer, and main and counter stacks. Also make sure all the change ***** are accounted for and that none are jammed into the spring and socket bolts.

The case should never be forced closed you may have bent or broke something for sure. Case should wiggle drop closed easily. Then you should be able to shift through gears with something like screwdriver in shift ext rod. Last spin mainshaft by hand and you should have no binding resistance in neutral and any gear.
