Default Obd1 ecu plug

I'm having a hard time takin my ecu off and on cause all the plug-press(?) are jacked up. Eventually I get the ecu off but I don't want it to take me 30 Min. On top of that. It's a cx harness so I had to add the vtec and knock sensor wires, now they're starting to fall out. I really don't wanna solder, Id really rather just change the harness from the ecu to where it adapts to the engine bay harness but I here it's a bitch to get the three plugs out. Inputs? It's my only car and I drive it hourly( <lol wtf) should I get gsr or another civic(si) harness?

Why do you need to remove the ECU so often? Security?
