Where is the best place to install an alarm siren?
Just bought a viper alarm system foy my Em1 2000 Civic Si, I am wondering where is the best place to install the siren so that theives cannot disconnect it right away, btw it is those sirens with the back up battery. I read about installing it under the fender but I am worried about it getting wet since I cut the tops of my fender liners since I am lowered. So where is the next best place I can install the siren? Inside the bumper? And I don't want to install them inside in the interior because I want it as loud as possible but hidden. Any advice? Thanks!

Inside the subframe, coweling, bumper, there are many places. Key is not showing any signs of it being there.

^^^^ Busy! Things are picking up about this time of year. How have you been?
Bottom of the firewall. That sounds perfect! So any DIY guide on how to mount and where to run the wiring, I don't want to mess up
. I have a 2000 Civic SI by the way.

Have you ever installed an alarm before?

Man, I went all out on the db, Check out my pics! Wow thats the worst spot to put a siren!
Yes I have, one time on my eg but I mount it on the standard place, the firewall top middle which I find is not effective. So I if you say that's a horrible place to put it then where should I install it? Under the bumper?
