My honda accord 2010 V4 EXL is having some rear shelve rattling which is extremely annoying. I went to the dealership they areej talking about $400 to get it fix as I just ran out of my warranty. I checked everything online they have material for the same problem upto 2009 model. Any help links whatever will be very much appreciated.

I went to the dealer again to get the exploded View of the trunk parts but I am still worries how I can fix this problem for good.

The rear shelf fix is there. I don't hear any rattle on my 10 EX-L so I don't know if my 2010 have the tape or something similar. What applies for 2008/09 should apply to 2010 too. There is no need for me to look in that area so I don't know. But from what I recall, more tape can't hurt. So apply more, different type of tape, can't hurt.

Side story. I had a squeaking sound on the Odyssey door. The dealer add 2-3 pieces of clear tape on the body where it makes contact and the noise went away. So far 4 years and 50K+ miles.
