so i was going thru some old photos and came across and old picture of my first civic and back then i had no idea what i had i know its a shitty picture but can anyone tell what motor this is i know it was non v tec but i have never seen this valve cover before

Actually, it's not even a motor, motors are electric

It's an engine, engines run on fuel. :D

Yup that engine or valve cover were found in europe. Rover was the car company that sided with honda for a short period of time. It is another variance of the integra d16 and the dohc zc.

 

Looks like a ZC. Hard to tell in the picture though

 

Gremlin Engine. its too small and out of spec that nobody can really tell nor do they care after having to squint their eyes or enlarge the photo and go out of pixels.

 

If the valve cover matches the engine that is a D16A8 out of a rover 400 90-95 (european)
