I have a question wat engine can i swap in my honda a good one dat is gonna respond me back when i press da gas pedal and make me happy i know automatic cars their are not good for racing but i luv my car i spend 1,900 in it and i now dat automatics they can be fast 2 depends on how much money u wanna spend. I just want my car to run faster and not get smoke alot of times by other cars it sucks i wanna beat them some times. So plsss tell me wat would be a good engine.amm can you put parts names and brand names all things that would help the engine and car run more. What would be the hp/ torque. What is the chances of beating a manual car stock or with a mini me swap on it. It is true that the vtec is more stronger can i put that on my car or wat. Im sorry if i put alot of questions and writing i just wanna learn more plss if u know more things dat it migth help me put it plss thank u.

 

1. Do a tune up, all the modifications in the world do nothing if the car gives out due to not keeping up with routine maintenance
2. Ditch the slushbox and get an Si transmission they're cheap and make the car feel a helluva lot faster
3. Street racing is for losers, take it to the track
4. MPFI conversion
5. Better suspension (no eBay crap)
6. Plan a budget, how much are you willing to sink into a build? Is it going to be just a fun daily car with some power to it or an all out scary machine that you're afraid to drive?
7. RESEARCH!!! DO LOTS OF IT!!!

 

Try using punctuation and stuff... Perhaps capitalization, and I bet if you made your paragraph readable others would take the time to read it. And maybe spell words like "what" correctly instead of "wat" and "dat" (which is not even a real word). I bet you get more responses.

Now in response to the plethora of questions. You need to know how much you want to spend/can spend first. Do you know anything about swapping engines? Or is this your first car and youre just starting out in the mechanical world? All of these questions matter. If you dont know much about this to begin with, dont bother. Or pay someone to do this for you. If you dont, you will end up with a $1900 Lawn ornament.

Judging by your post, you need to read, read, read, read, read, and read a little more. No person on this forum is going to take the time to post brand names and prices and links to things for your one thread. Every question you have asked has been answered 1000 times. Search for the simple things. If there is something you dont understand, then ask, but dont request to be spoon fed. It is not going to happen.

 

First I would suggest upgrading your exhaust. Ever thought about a o-pipe? Very underrated mod IMO. You can get one here:

Secondly, get NOS. The big bottles. Two of them.

I bet then you could take your friends with manual cars because they're probably granny shiftin' not double clutchin' like they should.

But be careful - you could blow the welds on your intake. But ask any racer, any real racer, it don't matter if you win by an inch or a mile. Winning's winning.

I would probably recommend trying to sell the car and get a stick because the money you put upgrading this automatic isint really going to give you the power you wanted like it would on a manual tranny. Also automatic transmissions arent ment for racing at all.I suggest you have someone teach you stick if you don't already know and sell/trade the car for a manual.Take this advice from a guy with experience I own a 1996 Honda civic AUTOMATIC transmission and ive done alot of modifications to it to try and make it go faster. I felt the improvement but its not what I wanted. I still have the car and have a hard time trying to sell it. Although I drive my uncles RX-7 here and there and thats what real power is.Manual
