Never got around to doing this so here it is. I currently have a 97 Acura CL 3.0 and I had a lot of plans for it, but I ran into a problem this past Friday where my front right CV axel broke lose, all because of a bad bearing. So, found out from my adjustor that its been deemed a total loss, right after getting a new front bumper and brand new F&F type 1 coilovers. I want to stick with the accord platform but also want to be different, and Im leaning towards the wagon platform. Dont see to many of these in my area, or really in general.

 

sorry to hear that man. i cant believe its a total loss...

not gonna lie wagons are awesome! lol and there arnt that many at all. their also really cheap to fix up. im basically completely rebuilding a 94 wagon right now.

actually i got more money from the insurance company and got the car back. I have fixed the axel and it was a pain in the *** without air tools. But its fixed now and im hoping to have it painted in march (if my tranny doesnt fail before then). Im going with either the blue raspberry metallic from the 2013 honda fit or the nebula gray pearl from the 2013 lexus gs.

 

Did the axle blow up and shred everything on that side?
