My son experienced a much less tragic event with his Honda Civic Si...the motor and trans was in place, but most everything else was taken. They totalled it without hesitation, but I'm sure you can find out about your situation pretty quickly. We did.

 

Yep totally totalled..

 

I'd guess that "that" car is more than 85% and thus totalled...

Totalled. My '99 Si was stolen and had the motor, tranny, and seats taken. My insurance totalled it.

its gonna be totalled, my civic was missing the hood, fenders, lights, motor, trans...

if its more then the value of the car or close to it, they till just total it, and give you Fair Market Value. You should look around and see what fair market value is. to make sure you dont get screwed over.
