Default Civic EF Water leak on floor behind drivers side seat

I have looked for some answers on Honda tech but haven't seen any specific answers re water behind the drivers side seat. If anyone has had the same issues, any help would be great. Or a link to the proper page. Thanks

try diagnosing the issue .
have a buddy spray your car with a garden hose while you are inside looking for the leak

You have to test - It it likely leaking somewhere else and running down the interior panels and then collecting behind the drivers seat.

Some threads say to check the taillight gasket, but could water run forwards to the rear floor area?

Good luck man. I get it front and rear. I'll fix it when I repaint though

That's what she said lol. Sorry, I had to say that. I'm gonna glass it up one of these days. Hopefully that will solve it

Replace the metal, never glass it.

I don't have the skills or tools to weld. And the car is getting close to 500,000 km's.

Check the drain tubes they're probably clogged. That's been my solution several times.
