cams?? need help
im in abit of a pinch. so i wanna chance my cams in my b18c type r. im upgradeding my valve train, and on my car i have headers 421, 2 and half exhaust. so here my queston what kind of cams should i put most of my parts are skunk 2 so i wanna stay with them. what would be the best cams for my setup??
Cams mostly are dependent on your CR. Are the internals stock? If so, you don't want to over cam your motor. You'll actually see a loss.
If stock internals, and your sure about upgrading a Skunk2 Stage 2 may be what your after.
If internals are mod'd and higher CR is gained then you can look into the Skunk2 Pro series.
I've has the S2P1+ cams previously in a track only car. Lumpy idle but I had headwork and upgraded CR.

Given Skunk2's recent series snapping cams and horrible PR with the whole K20.org bit I see no reason to recommend their products. There are plenty of other reputable companies out with cam options.
OP- We know very little about your setup at this point so a "best" cam right now is really just an uneducated guess.
Motor- internals, valve train, stock rods, etc.
Transmission- What year, final drive, etc.
You need to match your cams with your shiftpoints, to make sure your powerband matches the shift points in your transmission. Otherwise you are just throwing parts onto the car and like Dave mentioned, you might actually make less power.
