Hi,

Can anyone help me source the below mentioned starter assembly pls. Dont care if its new/used as long as its in perfect working condition. The current one installed in my car is fried and the local repair shop here said that its beyond repair.

STARTER MOTOR ASSY. (SM-422-12) (MITSUBA) PN# 31200-P30-903. It apparently is off a 1995 Honda Civic with a B16 engine

Tried ordering online at Honda parts cheap and 2 others and even paid for the same via paypal. Only to be refunded this morning saying part was discontinued by Honda.

Would really appreciate if someone here can help me out as cant start my car without the same.

Confusion. Civic's didn't come with a B16 in 1995. Not stock anyways. The 95 B16 would be in a del sol SI. Do you need a b series starter or d series? The p30 in the part number leads me to believe you need an obd1 b series starter. correct?

Not sure of the type or the car which the starter is from. All I know is the part number on the old one.

okay. very well. The part # says it's for an OBD1 B series. Lemme look around.

 

cant you fix the old one change out the brushes.. Or something.. might be a 10$ fix compared to 100$ starter

Already tried doing that before posting on here. The repair shop said its busted beyond repair.

Anyways just paid "civic00sir." yesterday who has one in stock. Waiting to receive it and see if its alright. If not then will need you guys to help out.
