Do 94 accords have a problem with the gas gauge not working? I have owned my car for 8 years now and the gas gauge has never worked. It used to work once in awhile, but the last 6 months it just stays reading past full. I reset my trip meter every time I fill it up and know I'm good for 350 miles before I fill up again. I noticed at the u pull it salvage yard all the instruments clusters are gone in the 94-97 accords and thought maybe people are buying them for the gas gauges.

 

Have you tested the fuel gauge sending unit?

How can I test the sending unit? To be honest I would rather replace it than the gauge. There is an access hole in the body to get to the tank. Replacing the gauge seems like it would be a nightmare.
