Default Overheat & no start

I recently intalled a D15Y5 Vtec head on my D15b7. After the install, car started up fine and I ran the car for about 12miles. Came back and car started overheating. Drained and refilled coolant, even replaced radiator with a new one, still having the overheating issue. What I did notice is that sometimes the car will not start, checked the spark plugs and notice they have moisture. Checked compression and it's good across the cylinders. If let the car sit overnight, then start it the next day, it starts up fine. The head gasket is brand new also. Also removed the thermostat, to no avail, still starts to overheat. For some reason, it look like the injectors may have moisture on them after driving the car. Any suggestions will help. Thanks.

If you removed the thermostat, and still overheat, possibly the water pump is not circulating the coolant. What are /were the tempeartures of the 2 main hoses?

Sure sounds like a head gasket issue. What are the cylinder compression numbers?

Not sure what the temp readings are on the hoses but they do fill up. the compression readings are $175 across.

The head gasket is brand new. Could this be a bad head also?
