Default cluster out in ef?

Ok so I was driving down the road in my 90 EF sedan and I noticed my ex clock wasn't on. And then I realized my cluster was just not working at all except speedo. Any ideas on what it is?

Check for a blown fuse (10A fuse 1).

Ok I put a new 10a in and the gas gauge went up but rpms and climate did not. Then gas dropped again. I'll check if it blew again though. Anywhere it could be grounding out? Like a common spot

Check for the turn signal fuse don't remember the number but iirc, it's the row closest to the door and closest to the driver seat. Either that or it's the one right next to it.

If it instantly pops the fuse, you my friend have a short. Could be in the PCB on the cluster itself, or a wire rubbed too long and frayed itself on the body..... This one is going to take some digging. Its not going to be a different fuse, you would be wasting your time with that.

Youre going to have to pull the cluster off, and look. Also, the fuse will most likely blow before you see an arc on the PCB so its a tough one to diagnose. Look for smoke though.
