96 Civic D16Y8 - need help locating oil leak
Sorry gang, I don't have a manual and not sure what this sensor is. Its leaking oil pretty bad and need to replace it ASAP. This is a 96 Civic ex Vtec Auto trans. Passenger side front of the head just below the distributor. See link for picture of engine. Thank you for the help.

The oil is coming out of the sensor where the black plastic fitting connects with the insert that screws into the side of the head, this is why I need to replace the sensor but I don't know what it is. The picture shows the sensor I am speaking of, just below the distributor.
The oil is probably leaking from the distributor O-ring. Buy the Honda O-ring to replace and go from there.
Also check for oil inside the distributor and below the VTEC solenoid.

I'll rephrase the information;
I have check the V-Tec solenoid and the distributor prior to this post. Neither are leaking. After cleaning the motor I found the subject sensor is leaking oil. I can watch the sensor bubble oil out as the engine runs. Can someone advise what this sensor is so I can replace it and fix the leak?
