Default k20 jetta

havent been on here in years. had a couple user names . but anyway since my cars goin thru a change thought id share. few months ago i built a rhd k20 jetta . had a build thread http://www.k20a.org/forum/showthread.php?t=99838 .. let my freind learn how to tune on it. made decent power. but im not happy with it.

k20z1
rbc ported to 70mm
70mm
3.5 intake with stack
custom header

car weighed 2735lb with a roll bar system spare tire me half a tank you get the point. goal is to get it to 2200 with me in it. even less would be better. so far it got gutted from the dash back. sunroof removed and plugged. its getting a 5 gallon fuel cell, custom soild rear to save some weight. and a buikt k24 over the winter. my garage isnt big enough to fit the car so progress is gonna be a little slow. and on to some pics and a graphs

How to make a VW more reliable - swap in a Honda engine and electronics!

I can only guess how much work this was to get it working. Props.

Ha! Great swap! Got rid of that under powered (12 valve?) 2 liter that was in there. Are you a member of vwvortex.com? I bet they would get a kick out of it....

I don't know much about Jettas but I'm pretty sure you're not stripping 500 lbs. off of that car very easily! For what it's worth I like the car. One question though... is that a dash carpet you got on there?
