Back to the Future DeLorean!
It's made by the Johnny Lightning brand, and you put together parts like tires, wheels, axles, etc. It's 1/64 scale (Hot Wheels sized). I bought two and put this one together.
Before putting the tires on the axles, I took a flying mode shot
This is how it looks completed, although I did have to lower it down some
If I find another one, I'm going to get it and glue the wheels horizontally inside the fenderwells.
Yes, BTTF is one of my all-time favorite movies

ah they're not that slow... 2.7L Peugeot V6 engine in the back... yeah the engine had its problems, but w/ the 5-speed I'm sure it would get up and go.BTW there is still a DMC based in Texas. They have enough spare parts from the original company stocked up in their warehouse that they can build brand new DeLoreans, just the same as the 1980-82 cars. They also sell used DeLoreans w/ warranty. They go for around $20K-$25K depending on mileage and condition I think.

I was just looking at http://www.delorean.com
You can buy a refurbished 100% like new DeLorean w/ warranty for $32,500.
On top of that you can get options like an upgraded engine (modified stock engine, power goes from stock 130/153 hp/tq to 197/193, all still N/A). Prices are $5000 to have a stock engine modified, or $6500 to have a 0-mile crate motor installed. They also have other options like sound systems, lower springs (makes car look even sleeker), and other stuff.
I spec'd/built a DeLorean on the website that came out to over $45,000!
I still want one.
