I have a 2005 lx coupe special edition. I want my windows tinted like they came from dealership. Does the dealership tint windows or would I have to take my car to car toys or something?

 

if the dealer does tint they will charge an arm and a leg. get someone else to do it.

 

i guarantee the dealer will have a local tint store do it then charge you three times as much.

 

I do not know of a Honda dealership up here that has an in-house tint applicator.

 

not to mention legal tint is barely visible and most people want dark tint. i don't think honda dealers want to be responsible if you get pulled over for illegal tints that they applied.

 

Don't take your car to Car Toys. They're usually overpriced. Find a shop that specializes in window tinting, preferably one that offers a lifetime warranty for the tint. Your phone book should have plenty of them listed in it.

 

OEM tint is usually baked into the glass so it can't be scrapped off. It only comes from the factory. The dealer will send it out to a tint service.
