civic eg/gsr swap - heater doesn't work

my heat isnt working in my civic eg with a gsr swap. just blows cold air? any help or ideas on what could be wrong?

Under the dash behind the radio are the cables that control the environmental controls.
Check to see if the cable is disconnected.

Thermostat maybe?? Doesnt that control letting new coolant in and allowing the hot coolant to run the heat? I may be just totally wrong here.
