Default RDX Injectors onto AEM rail-- adapters required?

Couldnt find a definite answer anywhere.. does anyone here know?

Looking to use RDX injectors with an AEM fuel rail. Typically the adapters are for OEM rails, just want to be sure before I order that I wont need them for the AEM rail.

Thanks,

Does the little hook on the side of the RDX injectors need to be chopped off when using hat adapters?

Forget it...found answer in another thread.

you can go to rosko racing and see if he can make you some hats or you can just get the rail from him.. here is the link https://www.roskoracing.com/cgi-bin/...=300-026-BLACK

I already have hats from K-Tuned, I installed the set-up over the weekend and had massive fuel leaking from 1 and 4 and could not pin point if the leak was coming from the hat or the nozzle.

After a millisecond of thought I realized it was the hat because i never started the car so it would not be leaking from the nozzle end....

i have aem fuel rail and never cut the tabs off
im using blue caps not green(blue caps are first design)

i was suggested by xenocron to cut the tabs off for a better seal

but for future reference

AEM b series fuel rail is made for OEM injectors so obviously it works just like OEM fuel rail just has a fitting for fuel pressure gauge.

Did you cut the tabs off? Make sure you do that if you are using the hats so that the injector goes all the way up in there. The spacing is also critical, if there is too much room between the manifold and the rail then the injector will push out and leak. The reverse is also true, if there isnt enough space then you can put things in a bind and cause a leak that way as well.
