I bought a S80 tranny from a JDM Integra Type R.

"S80 LSD E3D"


Does anybody have some specs for me?
The pre-owner said that the 5 gear goes up to 220 KMH / 136 MPH and then it hits the rev limiter.

I can't find any information about that

J4D=USDM ITR Trans/JDM 96-97 Trans 4.4FD

N3E=JDM 98-01 ITR Trans 4.7FD

E3D=Euro 98-01 ITR Trans 4.7FD

R4=97-00 CTR Trans 4.4FD

 

Ok .... hmm now I'm confused :/
He said he took the tranny from a JDM ITR ... and It would be very short ...the shortest tranny he knows.
He also called it SiR-G tranny.

2nd 1.900
3rd 1.360
4th 1.034
5th 0.787
FD 4.400

 

It looks like it has bin opened before, Hope you didn't get ripped...

jdm sir-g is usdm GSR thou some jdms have lsd.

 

the pic is just a example pic from the seller, I know him so he wouldn't mess around with me.
I will install it and go for a ride then we will know....

In german forum the people also aren't sure about the tranny .... maybe I'm lucky :-P

Nothing different about the 00-01' tranny. 98 spec it's all the same

I picked up the tranny today... what should I say... it's not the E3D ist the J4D ... I just copied the wrong pic :D

 

J4D is a usdm itr trans 4.4fd and a jdm 96 spec itr trans 4.4fd

and it definitely goes faster then 136 mph, and is not super short geared trans

 

Yup, J4D is def. USDM ITR trans with stock 4.4 FD and helical LSD

 

we take this tranny from an 96 JDM DC2 with B18C engine

great trans for the street, nice gearing, nice lsd,, loved mine

some news ^^ looks like the tranny has 4.7 FD like the pre owner said
