Default how much is my block worth

b16A
1st gen
cylinder walls look great, needs rebuild, bearings, rings, ect. turns over by hand. not a bare block, comes with oil pan and other bolt on stuff. no in\ex manifolds, no head.

I have people interested in it, just want to get the most I can for what it is, and I don't wanna give it away. I was thinking a super low price, but i need opinions on good solid prices, from people who knows these older vtec blocks.

Whatever you can get. Cheaper will go faster. But since it's already apart your buyer has to consider the cost of getting it running. And he has to justify not buying a GSR block. So not very much.

this would be a nice engine for a crx or something with that platform. it's not apart in pieces, it's a complete assembled block. I did take off the rod caps and crank caps, the crank is in crazy good condition. it's never even been resurfaced, it still that factory line ingraved around where the gasket goes.

thanks again guys

It's apart as in "I can't slap it in my car and run with it" and it's also apart as in "some guy took it halfway apart and told me that it runs good but I have no way of knowing."

It is a great engine but to put it back together the right way will cost time and money.

oh I see what you mean. I thought you meant, "it's apart, empty block bucket of bolts". lol

anyshop can put bearings, and a tad oversized pistons no problem. and if the bore checks out, hone and rings possibly? who knows, but someone will enjoy this jdm engine. thanks bro
