I'm having some trouble with my 03 Acura RSX base. I noticed earlier this week that it started to have a rough idle, bouncing back and forth between about 750-200 rpms. Didn't think much of it at first because it happens occasionally, but then yesterday it happened and I got a check engine light. Dropped by advance and they said it had logged a random misfire on cylinders 2 and 4. Also, when at cruising speeds on the highway, if I gas it quickly the car shudders as it responds. I checked for the obvious stuff like vacuum leaks and such but didn't see anything out of the ordinary. Anybody have any ideas?

 

when was the last time you changed your spark plugs?

 

switch the coils around and change the plugs
