I Drive a 00 EX Coupe and for some reason when I Stop at a light occasionally will the Idle Drop around 500 RPM'S which causes the car to vibrate a bit, but overall its usually up around 800- 900 RPMS if i had to estimate. I changed the spark plugs, Wires, Distributor Cap and Rotor and recently the Ignition Coil since i burned that out. the new ignition coil seemed to improve idle a lot, but still falls to 500 RPMS occasionally. What should i do?

Nothing. It's normal. Do you notice that it seems to do it when the fan kicks on?

 

Not Sure, Next Time that happens ill try to hear for it. I was thinking maybe i need to change my IACV because sometimes when i cold start my car the idle will bounce three times and think that might have a correlation to the low idle

 

Clean the IACV.

 

I remember last time i cleaned it about 8 months ago, it had no effect. would you recommend that i check anything else, by the way thanks for your help grumblemarc

Ill try to do that tomorrow since ill be off work, do you think possibly cleaning the the throttle body should help as well?
