Default 02 2dr civic airbag module interchange

Will a SRS module out of a 2dr 01 civic work part number 77960-S5A-A11-M1 work my 2002 part number is 77960-S5A-A840-M1

I'm not entirely sure, but I don't know why it wouldn't. You many want to phone your local Honda dealer and ask one of the techs.

Typical. I honestly don't know any reason why they wouldn't be compatible.

i test drove my civic that a mechanic was selling and then when i went to purchase it i noticed the horn honked when i closed the door. He took my good srs module to "reprogram it" which translates into putting it in a totaled 02 civic ex coupe he bought. Now my horn honks occasionally if im on a rough road. but as far as i know it worked in the older em2. an 01 and 02 should be interchangeable or you can roll without it
