Default Riding without fairing

I have my fairing off for a few reasons (cleaning, waiting on frame sliders, poking around out of curiousity). Anyways, it has been pretty shitty out, but this weekend is going to be beautiful. I don't want to put these back on for two days then go thru taking them back off and on when the frame sliders get here.

All I am worried about is those drain tubes that hang down. There is nothing close by to zip tie them to. Any ideas? Anything else I should worry about riding w/o the fairings?

On my old bike... I'd worry about getting burned by the expansion chamber or the air cooled cylinder head. I'm not sure about today's bikes... but depending on the configuration, I'd worry about being burned... and cooling.

I'm still trying to catch up to today's bikes. haha.

2k, it will be fine. In fact you can run w/ the drain hoses off. Those just direct the fluids out past your fairings to the ground. W/o the fairings they can just drip right out. Of course put them back on when you get the fairings back on. Good choice about getting the frame sliders on right away. You will not regret it. Btw, what kind did you get? Post up some pics after you get them on, I'd like to see them. Rubber Rider

i got the intutive ones. Nice and simple. I looked at the lockhart phillips ones too, but in the end liked the Intutive ones better.

Anyone else think that paint job is awesome?
