Hello all,
Im new to the forum, although I am not unfamiliar with car forums at all. So, to summarize a long a dreadful story, I lost my first car. A 2012 Kia Forte Koup. Although I wanted a GSR, my dad pushed me towards something newer and more "reliable". So I eventually gave in.
Now I am car shopping once again, and am glad I have another shot to get what I REALLY wanted. Im looking at a GSR, and it is looking pretty fine. Not too much done to it. Just headers, and struts. And some minor interior stuff. My question being, what are some things I should look for? What are the things that I could use to knock this car down in price if I wind up bargaining for it. Thank you!
Heres the car I am looking at, the only "major" thing in my opinion is the coils.

It looks real clean man. i recently purchased a gsr and im very happy with it. its definitely a good entry level honda. i would just take it for a nice drive and put it through all the gears and listen to any weird or irregular motor noises and for transmission grinds. if you want to knock off some of the price i would look at the paint due to they are pretty known for paint fading. i had to get mine repainted. also for more price reducing iteams look at tire depth/wear, brakes, and rust. Good luck!
Thanks Coopa! Ill be looking more in depth into it soon, I hope I can talk the guy down a bit on its price. But not too much has been done to it, so I figure it will make a great entry project car. Also, how soon does the clutch "engage" on these DC2s, as I looked at one previously before I wound up with that POS Kia, and its clutch engaged nearly 3/4 way out. Where I was told it should settle in around 1/2 out. We just figured the clutch had gone bad, amongst other things and didnt settle to buy it. But thanks!
