so went to mpfi and i am getting a code 9 i also followed the diagram to swap it from dpfi to mpfi but all the diagrams i am seeing is to swap over to obd1 but i am not trying to. any suggestions on what i might have done wrong

 

There is no difference swapping to OBD1 than doing the OBD0 only swap.

 

Other than adding a 4 wire o2 sensor, deleting the resistor box if running obd1 injectors, relocating your map wiring, cross referencing various pinouts for the proper distributor wiring, getting a new distributor and ecu+ jumper harness....

Op, try swapping pin c1 and c2 around.

 

You are right.... I just did the swap and I guess I forgot about all that.
