So i own a 1990 Acura Integra with a B20B Swap
and recently when i pop my shifter into reverse my Fuse light that controls the Backup lights, and the Dash Gauges ( Gas, Temp, and Rev) dont work and ive had to replace them about 10 times in the past 2 weeks

It is obvious you have a short, [to ground] and because it only blows when you put the car in reverse, the short is in the backup light circuit.
To confirm, unplug the reverse light switch on the transmission. 94

i do vaguely remember when i was under their a while back changing my steering rack that their was a green cap plug that was loose and i plugged back in(which explained why my backup lights didnt work before) but appeared to be broken..ill take a pick to see if that was it
could that be it if its loose that its shorting?
A loose connection is not a short.
What transmission do you have?
On a stock manual 90 Integra the switch is located on the lower front pass. side of the transmission...

It is a 2pin switch with a green/black lead and a yellow lead, the probem is most likely someplace along the green/black lead, [runs from the switch to the back-up lights. 94

and im guessing these are the leads

they are all greased up
ill clean them up and hopefully it will work
thanx for the help
thing about oil soaked wiring is that the insulation gets brittle and/weak. or chafes through or cracks easily, exposing the strands and causing a short. keeping that in mind with a brief visual inspection can sometimes help you find the problem quick.
just some food for thought i guess
