Icon3 Ep3 k20: Advice on CAI

Hey everyone, i am going to purchase a CAI for my k20 and was just looking for advice. I know that a cold air intake is setup away from the motor to draw in colder air, and than a short ram intake is near the motor which can bring in a hotter temperature. i was just wondering on which will bring more HP and benefit the car in the long run. Thanks!

cold air = more dense
hot air = not as dense

what do you think?
