B20VTEC VS 11:1 B20VTEC VS B16A Turbo
With some great help, I just installed a First gen B16A into my CRX and am already thinking about an upgrade for more power.
1. How much power will a regular unmodified block plus my VTEC head generate? ($500)
2. How much power will a 11:1 compression B20VTEC generate? ($1000)
3. How much power will a B16A Turbo generate? ($2500)
Which will be the most economic choice and bang for the buck?
Thank you.

B20 is a great motor but i wouldnt daily drive it. There a ticking time bomb unless you put money into the block there not ment to be beat up on. There a CRV motor not made to be pushed higher then 6k. B16 bulit right can handle 300hp with a great tune they can last forever. Plus keep up with anything u throw at it and ur in a crx, weight to power difference will be in ur favor.
