LF Torque Mount Rear Bolt Broken on 2000 GSR
I was helping Techno Tonis pull the head on his GSR this weekend. The bolts on the LF torque mount were super tight, but would turn. I warned of possible breakage when that much torque is required. We did not have an impact wrench and the blind nut on the rear bolt sheared from inside of the frame rail despite PB Blaster. Now the bolt turns freely. The front one did come out.
My thought is to use a 1.5" hole saw to notch the frame from inside of the wheel well to access the free nut.
Has anyone else run into this issue and is this the best solution?
TIA

Hole saw is what I would do, [have done so in similar circumstances].
We work on a lot of older cars, [Hot Rods] so this problem comes up all the time, so a hole saw or cutting torch is needed for access. 94
