I'm helping a buddy work on his gsr (obd2) and it won't start. It's getting fuel but no spark. I've replaced the icm, coil, cap,rotor and wires. Still no spark. So this led me to believe its the ecu. He has hondata in it now so I swapped it out for his original one and still nothing. All the fuses are good,it's in time and all the sensor plugs are plugged up. There is power all the way to the distributor and there is no MIL. Any help would be appreciated. I'm lost on this one. Thanks!

 

if you have power to the ditributor (blk/ylw wire), and you've replace the coil, icm, cap and rotor, and you aren't getting spark to any of the cylinders, check for crank signal pulse. you can use a test light for this. backprobe at distributor crank signal wire. the light should flash while cranking. if it doesn't, replace the distributor

 

check the ecu fuse in the engine bay! mine blew and wouldnt give any spark.

 

Check ECU fuse, also check for power on IGP1 and IGP2 at the ECU/ECM. 94
