Default new car question

I have always been a Honda junkie. I currently own a 95 accord 2.2 vtec and I recently found a 1990 Honda prelude si for 400$ with 144k miles. In mint shape. The Guy says it needs a distributor. Says it's only running on 2 cylinders. Idk if its just the cap or Maby the whole distributor. Idk how hard it would be to change the whole thing and if this is a common thing for these cars. But I want your opinion on the buy if its worth it. Or could it be a bigger problem and what to expect as far as performance vs. My accord. All opinions and comments on the subject would be helpful thanks

if its mint like you said then hell yeah.

could easily make double or triple that if you part it out too.

I wanna keep it and drive it. I just hope its only the distributor. I'm a Honda junkie. Maby this motor will embrace mods more then my accord motor. Idk what motor they put in them or how they perform or how reliable they are compaired to my Accord. I'm really liking the pop up head lights thou. Straight old school haha

Gonna say this now, stock vs stock the 3rd gen lude is one of the best handling honda's out there. Definetly destroys the Accord in the handling department stock vs stock. I traded my 94 accord LX I drove for a couple years for mine and maaaaaan what a difference.

Power wise in the 2.0Si (b20 engine) you're getting 135hp/137tq to crank, and like the accord's engine its pretty bullet proof. Now I dont know what 2.2 vtec you have in your accord but if its stock F22a1 that im thinking then it has 145hp/140tq to crank...but the lightness of the lude makes up for that I would say. You'd have to drive it to give yourself a better idea.
