Ok so my si trans does not have the housing on the tranny were the speedo cable go's in.. My std trans does.. I wanna put that one into the si but the book says not to remove this cuz it could cause the speedo gear to fall into trans housing.. What the hell do I do..

I use the origonal cable speedo drive from 91 si on b series tranny, just unbolt and wiggle it out. Shouldn't be a problem.

 

yea unbolt it and wiggle it out you can even run an electronic vss like for a newer cluster swap that doesnt use a cable. the whole assembly will come out no prob

 

It's stuck in the old trans there ain't no wiggle out

 

take the ten mm bolt out then pry it up with a large flathead maybe hammer and flathead it comes out i promise bro get mad at it lol

The pry piece broke.. It's not coming out.. Who sells these new? The whole housing.
