Default B16 head soot

Hi, I recently did a upgrade head, full valve train port polish and camshafts.

Rode car for 10k miles? parked it. Recently started working on my car I have a JDM 98+ type R header I plan on using for added power.

When I took my stock header off, I notice some soot, and oil rez looking ****. Not liquid oil but like cooked and all build up. 1 3 4 cylinders had all **** and cyl 2 was just black soot but clean. I put my finger in and it was like a creasote resin?

Wondering what would casue this type of build up. Head WAS brand new... I am suprized that it looked like that.

B16XSI engine
Head omni valve train. Flat face valve dual springs
Buddyclub Spec 3+ cam
Port/polish
Stock P30 head gasket
NGK plugs
Adj. FPR/gauge @40psi
Stock Ijectors
CF Whale intake
