Lately my car has been dropping massive rpms when I down shift, sometimes the car shuts off and turns back on once I let go of the clutch. Seems to do this mainly at nite, the headlights will dim with the drop. During the day the rpms act normal mostly. Anyone heard of this?

 

clean your maf sensor and/or unplug and see if it helps.

remove and clean your idle air control valve


or it could possibly be something wrong with the dizzy..could be a lot of things..
