i need some help i have a 96 gsr long block im trying to see what pistons should i get for my set up i would like to get somewhere around 200 to 215hp what i have is a stuck gsr head no port and polish or anything with:
ferrea valve train
skunk2 stage 2 tuner series cams
skunk2 cam gears
skunk2 intake mani with a 70mm tb
Block is 81.5mm bore
micropolish crank
arp main studs

What helps narrow things down is to filter that list down to the items which alter power output, eliminating the reliability items. This leaves increased compression (pistons), intake w/70mm tb, and S2T2 cam. I think the tb is a bit large for the rest of the build (so far), btw.
In terms of your goal: I'm guessing but would lean towards 'almost', perhaps not quite. If you have a very good tuner it'll be close.
Next big increase, if you stick with N/A, are head P&P, good exhaust, and consider S2 pro or DD Tech cams. (not in any particular order)
If you go very far past 200HP pay attention to the duty cycle on your injectors.
