Default Ever install a N2O gauge on A-pillar?

I've got my gauge, gauge pod, y, and braided line, and I'm ready to go. The only thing I'm worried about is f-ing up the pillar with the drill. Is it all pretty simple? I figured I would save myself $50 by doing it myself. Anything I need to worry about besides makeing sure the bottle is off ?

the gauge set comes with a fitting that reduces pressures i believe, but i still busted a gut thinking of mista bones response... i wouldn't run it level with my face neither... maybe in the dash or glove compartment.

I was gonna mount mine in the glove box, but since my bottle is omunted behind drivers seat, I just look down at the bottle mounted gauge.

900 psi tonight, ran another 13.10 @ 103

I had my NOS press. gauge in the pillar and never had a problem.. its not hard to install and there should be no reason why you couldnt do it yourself.. just make sure you have teflon tape..

yep, you should use teflon tape on AN/JIC fittings..........

NOT!!!!!!!

My used ZEX kit came with teflon tape on all the fittings.

I never said you should use it on ALL the fittings, god forbid you get teflon clogged in a nitrous line... I didnt use the ZEX kit, i ran an NOS kit, and even though i didnt use teflon on all of the AN fittings i did use a little teflon on the back of the pressure guage fitting to stop a slow leak.. thats why i suggested it.. just my $0.02
