my power steering whines most of the time, except sometimes after a cold start but later will start whining again. i recently replaced the pump with a new pump from oreilys and it still makes the exact same noise, do you think i just got a faulty pump or could it be something else like the rack?

 

i also recently bled the system a couple times and checked all the lines for cracks or leaks and i haven't found any, and there is bubbling in the reservoir.

 

is it the belt?

 

spray something on the belt while it's running if the whining goes way it's the belt and just needs to be tightened.
