Default Help with buying Accord

So this guy wants $750 I say it's worth 300.

With the problems listed I know the
windshield is around $250
struts 300 about
and other misc. parts

Let me know what you guys think?

Well, let's start at "other misc parts." What are they? Misc can turn into major at the turn of a key. Other than that, what are you buying it for? Fixer, or dd. If it's a fixer, (for project), then it sounds like a pretty good deal. Already states it needs a little work, but oddly leaves out the mileage. That part alone would have me a little wary if it's gonna be a daily driver. I would inquire a bit more before making any offer.

stunned at the rust...been living in Georgia for so long now, not used to seeing the rust.

Try to split the difference with him. It might get you thru the winter, and you don't need to replace the windshield (unless it's required by your state) and struts are something you can diy for less. For 500, if it lasts you 3 months, you made your money on it, and can sell it for scrap for at least 300 if it totally dies on you.
