send it to CM, have it re-surfaced, that way you basically got a brand new stage 3 clutch, at a fraction of the cost

i've never had it done myself, not really sure about all the details, just drop clutch masters an E-mail, and they can give you all the details, i just know that it is possible to do it, and the stage 3 is much better than the stage 2, especially if you use nitrous.

Kevlar shouldn't ever die out. You might just have to adjust the clutch cable. I'd be damn suprised if you were able to toast a CM stage 3 in 10k miles w/ proper install. In any case, a call to CM wouldn't hurt. Resurfacing means to grind off a few thousands on the clutch disk assuming that it's been glazed from too much slipping.

I think he means adjust the engagement point of the clutch pedal...

I've had a lot of friends that think their clutches are going out, but they just had their pedals grossly adjusted and it didn't 'feel' right to them.

Then again, I sure hope you can't toast a CM stage 3..Cuz I just put one in, and want it to last 4 times that amount of mileage.

all i've ever had to do to get rid of play is to bleed the system.... if you've got a Helms manual, that should give you some useful help

I dunno why my clutch is soo bad, i think cuz i am in NYC, i get stuck on traffic alot, i hate it, i dunno if its just me, but stage3 clutch its hard to drive slow, when u try to move slow, you release the clutch slow, sometimes you might jerk the car badly, i just gun it.. lolz gas it and pop the clutch, and in traffic i try use less of the clutch, so whatever you guys mentioned imma going to give it a try... adjusting the clutch cable? engaging point?? bleeding?? lolz what else????

that's really weird about your clutch being stiff, mine isn't, i think your pressure plate may be going out, but i could be wrong, regardless, it'd probably be a good idea to call Honda and speak with a service advisor. maybe they could give you a better idea
