SRS
I have heard varying stores for Civics in the U.S. having this issue. Call you dealer and ask. My story: In 2009, my 2003 Civic's SRS light was on. Using directions from the internet, I confirmed a failed seat belt buckle SRS mechanism was the cause of it. I took my Civic to the dealer. The dealer confirmed the cause; made an appointment for a few days later; and fixed it at no charge for labor or parts. I have had no problems with SRS since.
I know from experience that the dealer does not cover them in Canada. Some friends on a Hybrid forum in the States said that the part was covered for life there. They said that if one dealer won't do it free of chanrge, to go to another dealer.
