I'm looking to put the S2K steering wheel in my 5th gen, and I understand it has to be the ap1 S2K steering wheel, because of the airbag system. My question that i haven't found any information on, is r the jdm s2k steering wheels all single deployed or r the ap1 single and ap2 dual deployed like the s2000 in the US. The reason Im trying to find out for sure about jdm s2k steering wheels is that's what they r labeled on eBay by the sellers and when u call them, they say ummm its ap1 I think or umm not sure but umm it will work!! Or does anyone know a company to get one from, been searching the web.

 

Both ap1 and ap2 will fit, the only concern is the 2 stage airbag of the ap2 wheel. I use an ap1 wheel with a dc5 airbag in my bb6 prelude.

 

Ok thanks, I was on the s2k forum yesterday and found a guy in TN parting out a 01, so I may the 2 1/2 hour drive and got it off him. Hope to throw it in this weekend coming up.

 

Put in s2k steering wheel today, very easy, such a great upgrade, not just in looks but the size of the steering wheel and feel compared to r 5g wheel is huge. Love it, I got a ap1 (2000 to 2003) so far good.
