Icon7 track ready

im going to start with thank you to the people who help me.im trying to make a track ready honda but need to know a few things.. First its an automatic but im planning on converting and making rear wheel drive. (unless i should sell and start with a standard?) But im thinking about using Koni yellow struts with eibach swaybars and lowering springs, weapon-r dragon intake with a magnaflow exhaust. Are those good combinations? and what else should i put on.also im also thinking about buying goodyear eagle f1 tires. are there any better suggestions for what I'm trying to do

If you're thinking of converting a 7thgen Civic into a rwd track car, you might as well stop right there and save your money for an actual rwd car.

Suspension will be your best bet in making you slightly competitive. Koni yellows and lowering springs will not be your best choice. A quality coil over set up will help you more.

If your plan is to engine swap and make it rear wheel drive, don't waste money on current engine performance.

Your best thing you can do right now is find some people who track their EM2 and ask them what they are running.

Automatic to RWD conversion - estimated cost, $10,000+ if you're unable to do the metal work yourself. Without a different drivetrain entirely, RWD isn't really possible. The D17 is not designed for RWD platforms... unless you want to try and mount the engine in the back of the car for some odd reason.

Eibach anti-sway bars - decent street upgrade, but not really big enough for aggressive track use.

Lowering springs - good for a daily commuter, but definitely not up for the task of track racing.

Weapon-R intake - pointless noise addition. Performance gains are 0, at best.

Magnaflow exhaust - again, pointless noise addition. Without K-Pro... there's really nothing to be made from the stock drivetrain, when thinking of bolt-ons.

Goodyear Eagle F1 tires - decent road tire for the Summer, but again... not all that aggressive of a track tire.

I think you need to invest some time researching what it'd take to make your car RWD, because its no short list of things. If you want a track car, the 7th gen. Civic can do well... but you're not going to get very far with an Automatic in anything but an Autocross event. If you're desiring more power, look into swapping a K-series engine (which will run you $5,000 or so). Good suspension components for the coilovers, camber adjustment, anti-sway bars, and etc... will probably run you closer to $2,500 for quality components.
