Default 97 accord brakes

I have a 97 accord that needs brakes, any suggestions on brands and material? Should I go ceramic or semi metallic? Should I upgrade to slotted rotors? Unsure what to do but my $12 pads suck

Also not wanting to spend a ridiculous amount for something I can get same quality cheaper. Any recommendations are highly appreciated

If you're gonna replace your rotors, it would be best to order the ROH Rotor Over Hub kit from tasauto.com and have your brake place do the conversion. Then you can do your own rotors in the future. Unless you already know how to do the HOR yourself.

For brakes, I just go the autozone route and any time I need to replace them, they're free.
