I'm just curious to find out what ECU you all are running out there, if you opted to do the OBD1 conversion or if any of you have just slapped on a Vtec OBD2 ECU and wired the Vtec wire to the solenoid?

couldn't you compensate for that with the addition of a Vafc or something of the sort? Or even possibly bumping up the fuel pressure, granted you would have a fuel pressure regulator. I'm assuming then, that the safest bet would possibly be to run the stock ecu and add in a vtec controller such as the Vafc then...correct?
well, thats pretty much the ghetto style as you really dont know the AFR..
VAFC is some stone age technology compared to todays tuning knowledge.
If people would get a tune, they would get better performnce all around. Alot are just happy the swap runs and leave it at that.
I can only vouch for what I see in S.Florida

I know of all the possibilities of getting a good tune...or even a decent one. I've had 2 mildly powered turbo'd Hondas in the past, one with Hondata and another with AEM EMS. I just don't see the need to spend that much on engine management IF I'm not going to be tracking my V. I'd just like to make decent passing power on the highway...cause as it stands, I can't even pass regular cars on the highway when I want to lol. It's a shame since our V's are so under powered, I'd just like a little umph to get by.

im using chipped p28... but when i got my inspection, i slapped the Si ecu -p2t, i was surprised
that i passed! all the machine did was check all sensors and if i have CEL, then i was good!
swapped back the chipped ecu as soon as i left the inspection station...

I've ran a P73 ITR USDM ecu on a B20V setup, and it wasn't to shabby, but normally ran a P28 tuned on chrome.

Yeah I just got myself a P28 to eliminate the knock sensor and chipped it with a CRV base map, modified it a bit along with vtec engagement point. Also threw in some ODB2 H22 injectors which are slightly larger...i think it's 245cc B20 vs 290cc H22, or something close.

I went to Honda to pick them up new and was told they are 290cc. Also looked it up online and found they were also 290cc. I've never heard of them having 275cc injectors.
If your ECU isn't looking for the knock sensor you shouldn't have any issues. Make sure to do the CKF trick though or you'll always throw a CEL on the CKF sensor which JDM engines don't have the only alternative is to run the old oil pump from the old engine.
