Fixing clutch safety switch? ('93 Civic)
So I've been driving my '93 civic for a while now with the clutch safety switch bypassed (that is, I put a wire in the plug to complete the circuit) due to problems in the past with my ECU that I've since fixed.
I'm going on a road trip soon though, and as far as I know the cruise control won't work unless I have the safety switch hooked up correctly. When it is hooked up, I can't crank the engine at all.
I guess I'm asking, what would be a fix for this? Replacing the safety switch? and where would be a good place to buy one? Thanks
