So it only needs a gasket so you're selling it for 5k? Instead of taking it to a mechanic, and having them fix that for 400 bucks and you can sell it for 12-15k? School is too busy to drop it off at a mechanic? Seems weird.

no, you got it twisted. the condition it is in now is that of a 40 year old car. if it were running, i could probably sell it for 1000-1500 more but with my time restraints, i just dont have time to get it fixed. fully restored it could be sold for 12-15k, so putting some money into making this car pristine would actually be a good investment. its far from a perfect, pristine car, but its a great foundation to start with in terms of classic mini coopers.

i might have some time this weekend since mid terms are over, so i might fix the head gasket. if someone wants a cool project car for a few grand below its true value, i would suggest getting at me before i get a chance to get it running. if i get it running, i am raising the price to 7k

thanks man, i really wish i could keep it and see it through, but with lack of time/money, its just not an option for me right now. these cars are RIDICULOUSLY FAST with a b series swap in them

haha yea, to tell you the truth my whole thing is that if i am trading for another car, i need to be able to daily drive it so i can sell my fit. my main goal is to raise enough money to buy a motorcycle so i can compete in the AFM racing series.
